Hello Kitty and her friends will feature in the “Our Sanrio Times” exhibition that will take place from July 28 to September 3 at Studio City.
Fans will see 100 of the 400 characters designed by Japanese company Sanrio in the exhibition which is jointly organised by Macexpo and Sanrio Hong Kong.
Macexpo managing director Lo Tak Chong said during a press conference yesterday at Studio City that he expects the exhibition to attract 40,000 visits as it will be during the summer holidays when tourists would also be in town.
Sanrio Hong Kong Chief Operating Officer for Asia Caroline Tang Shui-kwan said that as each character represents an era so each character has been most people’s childhood friend.
