A dedicated Macao Pavilion was set up at the Asia Pacific Food Expo 2025 in Singapore between last Friday and Monday this week, according to a statement recently issued by the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM).
The pavilion was a collaboration between IPIM and the Industrial Association of Macau (AIM). It featured 26 local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). According to the statement, approximately 350 “Made-in-Macau” and “Macau Brand” products were showcased, including health products, baked goods, noodles, and alcoholic beverages. Some exhibitors launched new products on-site.
The statement noted that over 80 percent of the participating companies hold the “M-Mark” Macau Product Quality Certification, and more than half of the products are halal certified. These certifications are intended to increase the visibility and acceptance of Macau products in ASEAN markets, the statement added.
The pavilion included corporate booths, a service promotion area for IPIM, and a tasting zone with interactive photo spots. Multiple business matching sessions and 12 tasting events were arranged during the four-day expo.
The Asia Pacific Food Expo, held at the Singapore Expo, is described in the statement as one of the region’s most influential food trade exhibitions. IPIM said in the statement that it will continue to organise and support local industries in participating in major international exhibitions to expand business opportunities.
