The National Basketball Association (NBA) of the United States and integrated resort operator Sands China Ltd, inaugurated the first NBA Macao Flagship Store at The Londoner Macao in Cotai on Saturday, coinciding with the NBA China Games 2025.
Operated by Sands China, the store is located on the second floor of the integrated resort, offering a wide selection of official NBA merchandise and memorabilia, including player jerseys, footwear, and collectibles from brands such as Nike, Chow Tai Fook and New Era.
The store features a customisation area for jerseys and apparel, authentic NBA memorabilia, and an LED half-court where visitors can join basketball activities and view live games.
The opening ceremony was attended by NBA Deputy Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer Mark Tatum, Dallas Mavericks Governor and Las Vegas Corp. President Patrick Dumont, Sands China Chief Executive Officer Grant Chum Kwan Lock, NBA Asia Managing Director Wayne Chang, NBA China Senior Vice President Jonathan Li, NBA Legend Tim Hardaway Sr. and WNBA champion Myisha Hines-Allen.
“The best part is that the fans get to experience the joy of the NBA, and the experience of the games here in Macau. NBA China has been phenomenal, and we really appreciate the partnership,” Dumont said in his remarks.
“Opening the NBA’s first store in Macau in collaboration with Sands China reflects our commitment to providing fans in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) with easier access to merchandise and products so that they can showcase their favourite teams and players,” Li added.
The launch marks the NBA’s first flagship retail presence in Macau and adds to more than 200 NBA-branded stores and attractions worldwide serving as official destinations for fans, according to a statement from NBA China.
