Restaurants & hotels have 4,393 job vacancies in Q3
Macau’s restaurants and hotels reported a total of 4,393 job vacancies in the third quarter, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) said in a statement yesterday.According to the statement, job vacancies in hotels rose by 352 year on year to 2,221, while the number of vacancies in restaurants stood at 2,172, almost unchanged from a year ago.At the end of the third quarter, hotels had 54,524 full-time employees, down 0.1 percent year on year. Oct mobile phone imports drop 31 pct
Mobile phone imports last month dropped 31.2 percent year on year to 425 million patacas, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) said in a statement this week.In the first 10 months, mobile phone imports fell 14.7 percent to 3.13 billion patacas.Construction material imports dropped 37.1 percent to 101 million patacas in October.
