The Vivienne Westwood & Jewellery Exhibition 2026 Macau opens today at Grand Lisboa Palace (GLP) in Cotai, marking the fourth stop of the exhibition’s global tour and the first in southern China.

Vivienne Westwood (1941–2022) was a British fashion designer and one of the most influential figures in modern fashion. She is largely responsible for bringing modern punk and new wave fashions into the mainstream, as noted in Wikipedia.

The dedicated exhibition was previously held in New Zealand, Shanghai and Chengdu.

Held until July 15 and curated by the Vivienne Westwood team, the exhibition located on Level 1 of the integrated resort features eight rooms and offers “an immersive look at Vivienne Westwood’s extensive history of jewellery design – encompassing Westwood’s sensibilities for historical reference and culture, past and present”, according to a statement recently provided by integrated resort operator SJM Resorts. Among the exhibits showcased are a collection of four decades of special archive and runway jewellery.

“With a design record spanning over 50 years, Vivienne Westwood is now recognised as a global brand and Westwood herself is remembered as one of the most influential fashion designers, and activists, in the world”, the statement pointed out.

The statement said that the exhibition will continue to tour across Asia, the US, and Europe.

Admission tickets to the exhibition are free, but require advance booking. It is open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. For details, visit https://art.sjmresorts.com/en/exhibitions-and-events/vivienne-westwood-n-jewellery-exhibition
