A collaborative art exhibition featuring works by local architect Alexandre Marreiros and Indonesian artist Nyoman Suarnata is now on display at Amagao Gallery in Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau in Nape, according to a statement from the hotel operator.
The exhibition, titled “Meet You There”, is a joint presentation by Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau and Amagao Gallery, which is managed by Galeria 57. As the final exhibition of 2025, this showcase marks a conclusion to the gallery’s 2025 programme, the statement noted.
Entering the gallery, art lovers will find a mixture of works by Marreiros and Nyoma. According to the statement, the exhibition is not based on a physical location but a “conceptual territory” created through artistic dialogue. The statement noted that the artists use layered compositions and symbols to explore social, environmental, and personal themes.
The show is curated by Raúl Caldeira together with Managing Partners of Amagao Gallery Victor Marreiros and Lina Ramadas.
In the statement, artist Alexandre Marreiros describes the exhibition as “a call to presence” and an invitation to engage with generative art. Curator Raúl Caldeira added that the show tackles global concerns in a playful and colourful manner.
General Manager of Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau and Area Vice President, Macau and Hengqin of Artyzen Hospitality Group Rutger Verschuren was quoted by the statement as saying: “Through the works of Alexandre and Nyoman, we see how stories, concerns, and hopes can be expressed visually and understood in many ways. ‘MEET YOU THERE’ encourages all of us to pause, to reflect, and to consider what our own role in the world around us is or can be. It is a meaningful way to conclude the year and a wonderful reminder of why creativity matters.”
The exhibition will run through February 1. One can view the works on display at the free-admission gallery from Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. during its run.
