Macau aviation regulator enforces no-fly zone during National Games torch relay

The Civil Aviation Authority of Macau (AACM) announced in a statement yesterday that unmanned aircraft activities will be prohibited over the Macau peninsula on Sunday to ensure safety during the 15th National Games torch relay.

According to Article 66 of the Air Navigation Regulation of Macau, and approved by Executive Order No. 43/2021, the no-fly zone will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday, the statement said, adding that violators face fines ranging from 2,000 to 20,000 patacas.

The no-fly notice was published in the Official Gazette (BO) yesterday.
