Whisky Live & Fine Spirits Macau 2025 will again be held at Grand Lisboa Palace (GLP) in Cotai and is set to feature over 500 premium whiskies from more than 80 brands worldwide, along with gourmet cuisine, live music and masterclasses with whisky experts.
According to a joint statement by SJM Resorts and Whisky Magazine, the event is slated for November 28-29, with tickets now available.
Highlights include the Asia Bar Show, which will showcase 12 of the region’s top bars at the Mesa Bar at THE KARL LAGERFELD MACAU, with GLP Resort Master Mixologist Frederick Ma (馬銘康), who was Champion of the 2024 World Bartender of the Year at the IBA World Cocktail Championship, at the helm. Also set to present an array of cocktails at the show is Hong Kong’s Alibi – Wine Dine Be Social Head Mixologist Jennifer Ho, winner of Hennessy My Way Hong Kong & Macau 2025, along with other top mixologists.
Meanwhile, this year’s specially selected exclusive annual event bottle is the 700ml limited-edition Tsunuki Single Cask Whisky Live Macau 2025 – Aged 6 Years Cream Sherry Cask Peated. “The whisky reveals layers of rich smoke, dried fruit, and velvety sweetness, culminating in a long, warming finish”, according to the statement.
In terms of live performances, Hong Kong jazz legend Eugene Pao (包以正) and his quartet are set to perform on November 28. Pao, the statement said, is the first Hong Kong jazz musician to sign with an international record label and has collaborated with superstars such as Michael Brecker and Herbie Hancock.
The following day, Hong Kong DJ duo “Beat Friday” composed of veteran music producer and songwriter INK and club and RTHK DJ Ballshing will take to the stage, reimagining 1980s–2000s Cantopop classics with their own remixes and mashups, the statement noted.
The statement said that there will also be a dedicated VIP lounge, dining experience, and a series of Master Classes from whisky experts around the world.
