SJM Resorts, S.A. (SJM) will host the “SJM Harlem Yu Music Show” on October 4 at the Grand Hall of Grand Lisboa Palace (GLP) Resort Macau in Cotai, featuring celebrated Mandopop veteran Harlem Yu (庾澄慶), according to a Tuesday statement by SJM.
Mandopop is short for “Mandarin Popular Music”.
Yu, 64, is a Taipei-born singer-songwriter, television host, and businessman.
Known for his versatile musical style and distinctive “Yu-style” vocals, Yu will deliver an evening of high-energy rock numbers alongside soulful blues, the statement promised. With a career-spanning decades, according to the statement, Yu will take fans on a nostalgic yet fresh journey through his greatest hits, recreating iconic moments that promise both passion and an unforgettable experience.
To complement the performance, the statement highlighted that SJM has introduced an exclusive hotel package priced from 5,388 patacas, the statement said, adding that the offer includes two premium concert tickets, a one-night stay at GLP, and breakfast for two, available for reservation on a first-come, first-served basis until September 27.
Ticket holders will also receive a 15 percent dining discount at designated restaurants within the resort on the concert day, the statement noted.
The 1-hour, 15-minute show is slated to begin at 8 p.m. on October 4.
