A new public library in the Community Complex in Coloane’s sprawling Seac Pai Van public housing estate opened yesterday, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), which runs the city’s public libraries, said in a statement.

The new Seac Pai Van Library, which is on the sixth floor – the top floor – of the building, opens from 2 p.m. to midnight on Mondays, and from 8 a.m. to midnight from Tuesdays to Sundays, the statement said.

The Community Complex’s car park, on the third to fifth floor, came into service in December 2017. The supermarket, which is on the first floor of the six-storey building, opened in February last year. The supermarket, officially known as Integrated Shopping Centre, includes the sale of fresh food.
