The inaugural 2026 OCBC Cycle Macau, a road cycling event within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), will take place this Sunday at the “Cotai Circuit” (“金光賽道”) around the Macau East Asian Games Dome in Cotai, according to a recent statement from OCBC Bank’s Facebook page.

Organised as the first GBA road cycling race held in Macau, the event will bring together cyclists from Macau, Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland.

Sponsored by OCBC Bank (Macau), the event will feature multiple categories for cyclists of different ages and skill levels, including the Elite category and the Open category, the statement noted.

The deadline of the registration ended on Sunday.

The race course will be set on a flat circuit, focusing on speed and pacing competition, the statement said, underlining that the Men’s Elite category will include five intermediate sprint points during the race, while champions of each category will receive exclusive champion jerseys.

The event will also introduce new categories such as an Open category, a Charity Family division and a 4–6-year-old children’s division, allowing more cycling enthusiasts and families to participate, the statement said, adding that all participants will receive a race package including a cycling bag, sports towel, finisher medal, and local souvenirs.

The Charity Family division’s registration fees will be fully donated to Caritas Macau, the statement said, noting that in addition, OCBC will donate 50 patacas to Caritas Macau for every successful registration, supporting community charity initiatives through cycling.

This poster released by OCBC Bank’s Facebook page recently promotes the upcoming “2026 OCBC Cycle Macau” slated to make its debut this Sunday in Cotai.
