Typhoon Bebinca caused no major accidents or damage, the Unitary Police Service (SPU) said in a statement early yesterday morning.

On Tuesday, Typhoon Bebinca was gradually approaching the city, and the Macau Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) hoisted the No. 8 typhoon warning signal at 7:30 p.m., which remained hoisted for five hours before it was replaced by the No. 3 signal at 12:30 a.m. yesterday.

The statement said that there were a total of 18 incidents, including eight cases of falling objects and six trees that were blown down by the storm, with all of the incidents recorded either during the No. 1 or No. 3 signals.
