When the Earth pulls me into its dark embrace, and tiny beings explore my hollow chest. Let them find the warmth of my quiet efforts to be someone good, my wish is to leave the world kinder than I found it.
Will my pain stain this Earth that gave me life? The thought aches. So while I breathe, for all the burdens I am strong enough.
