Tickets for the “NBA China Games 2026 presented by Taobao 88VIP,” featuring the Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets, will go on sale to the public tomorrow, with the two teams set to play preseason games at The Venetian Arena in Cotai this October, according to an NBA statement yesterday.
The US National Basketball Association (NBA) and Sands China Ltd. announced in the statement that tickets will go on sale at 12:00 p.m. tomorrow through Cotai Ticketing, Taobao 88VIP, Trip.com, and MPay, the statement said.
The Mavericks and Rockets will face off in two preseason games at The Venetian Arena, with the first scheduled for October 9 at 7:30 p.m., followed by the second on October 11 at 5:30 p.m., the statement noted.
Tickets for the games will start at 588 patacas. The statement also announced a lineup of Asian artists who will perform during the games and NBA Fan Day: Gen Z group KiiiKiii will perform at halftime of the NBA China Games, while Hong Kong singer-actor and MIRROR member Keung To alongside K-pop star EVAN (Hee-Seung) will perform at NBA Fan Day on October 10 at 3:30 p.m.
Hosted by rapper-actor Jin Au-Yeung, known professionally as MC Jin, NBA Fan Day will feature Mavericks and Rockets players, mascots, and a range of fan activities – including a skills challenge, three-point contest, Shooting Stars challenge, and a slam dunk show featuring professional dunkers, the statement said.
According to the statement, tickets for NBA Fan Day on October 10 will start at 488 patacas.
The Mavericks’ current roster includes nine-time NBA All-Star and 2016 NBA champion Kyrie Irving, 2025–26 NBA Rookie of the Year Cooper Flagg, and 2026 No. 9 overall pick Morez Johnson Jr., the statement said, adding that the Rockets feature two-time NBA champion and 16-time NBA All-Star Kevin Durant, two-time NBA All-Star Alperen Şengün, and 2024–25 NBA All-Defensive First Team member Amen Thompson.
In conjunction with Sands China, the organisers have also launched NBAChinaGames.com, a digital platform providing official information about the games, surrounding events, fan experiences, venues, and tickets.
The “NBA China Games 2026 presented by Taobao 88VIP” will be broadcast and distributed to fans in more than 200 countries and territories through television, digital media, and social media, the statement said.
