Multiple flights at the local airport have been cancelled due to Tropical Cyclone “Dolphin”, with 30 flights cancelled yesterday and two more scheduled to be cancelled today, according to a statement by the Civil Aviation Authority (AACM) over the weekend.
Dolphin landed in Zhejiang Province yesterday, moving further inland this week. According to the statement, passengers are urged to confirm the latest flight status with their airlines before departing for the airport.
Passengers can also check the Macau International Airport website (www.macau-airport.com)for the latest flight information or call the airport hotline on 2886 1111, the statement noted, adding that passengers travelling through the local airport today are advised to check with their airlines before departure and allow for possible disruption caused by Dolphin.
