Ahead of the recently concluded “Women’s Volleyball Nations League [VNL] – Finals Macao 2026”, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) launched a raft of activities as a part of its “GEG Sports for Good Community Program: ‘V Together’ Volleyball Outreach Series”.

According to a recent statement by the integrated resort operator, the initiative aimed to “extend the tournament experience to different sectors of the community and encourage participation”.

Among the activities held were inviting nearly 200 members from local social service organizations and youth groups including Fuhong Society of Macau, Macau Special Olympics (“MSO”), Macau Deaf Association, Association of Parents of People with Intellectual Disabilities of Macau, Caritas Macau, GEG Youth Achievement Program and Young Men’s Christian Association of Macau, to matches, the statement noted.

The statement added that GEG supported MSO and Fuhong Society of Macau in operating charity sales booths at the venue, while bouquets for participating teams were also prepared by members of Hong Kong Hin affiliated with the Association of Parents of People with Intellectual Disabilities of Macau.

Meanwhile, at the “Volleyball Experience” at Galaxy Macau’s East Square, GEG arranged for MSO and the Macau Deaf Association to join its themed activities.

The statement added that GEG and other organisers also invited several members of the Chinese Women’s National Volleyball Team to interact with participants from local youth training teams under the Volleyball Association of Macao, China, and the GEG Staff Social Club’s Volleyball Team.

Among the other activities that the company also supported were a series of autograph sessions, the statement added.

The VNL finals took place on Sunday, with Turkiye winning gold, followed by Brazil and Italy taking silver and bronze respectively.
