A brand-new interactive space featuring Macau’s tourism mascot, Mak Mak, was inaugurated on Friday.

The facility, known as the Mak Mak Experience Hub, is located on the ground floor of the Ritz Building in Largo do Senado, the city’s main square.

However, the hub is not a permanent fixture. Following its inauguration on Friday afternoon, it will remain open daily until January 3 next year.

Mak Mak, introduced in 2018, is Macau’s official tourism mascot and is managed by the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO).

The hub is open from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and MGTO-specified dates.

Themed “Mak Moments,” the hub consists of four specialised zones and various interactive experiences, alongside a selection of cultural and creative Mak-themed products for sale.

The four themed zones comprise Mak Mak’s Office, the Mak Friends Livestreaming Room, Mak Mak’s Daily Travel, and the Mak Mak Gourmet Station.
