Hong Kong-based TurboJET announced in a statement yesterday that its Macau-Shenzhen Baoan International Airport ferry services will relocate from Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal to Taipa Ferry Terminal from today.
According to the statement, the Macau-Shenzhen airport route offers six return voyages per day from Monday to Thursday, and seven two-way trips per day from Friday to Sunday as well as on public holidays.
According to a previous Post report, the route was launched in November.
The statement also noted that the relocation is intended to align with passenger travel trends, making it easier for travellers to stay and attend events at Macau’s integrated resort hotel complexes in Cotai.
The measure aims to leverage the synergies between transport and tourism, as well as the “unique advantages of the Greater Bay Area’s (GBA) diversified integrated transport platforms”, the statement said.
The ferry departure schedule from Shenzhen Baoan International Airport to Taipa Ferry Terminal is as follows: 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m.
From Taipa Ferry Terminal to Shenzhen Baoan International Airport the departure schedule is as follows: 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:45 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m., 8:00 p.m.
On Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, an additional ferry from Shenzhen airport to Taipa departs at 8:30 a.m., and from Taipa Ferry Terminal to Shenzhen airport at 10:00 a.m.
