Italian wine producers, institutional partners, wine professionals and aficionados were gathered at Vista for the MGM-hosted “Vino Condiviso 2026 Macau, Viva Italia” last Friday, with over 250 attendees and over 100 Italian wine labels presented.

“Vino Condiviso” means “shared wine” in Italian.

According to a statement on Monday, the one-night event at MGM COTAI was a highlight among the integrated resort operator’s curated wine experiences, being part of the company’s “An Epicurean Journey through Fine Vintages” May wine campaign.

The statement said that during the event, attendees “explored Italy’s rich winemaking legacy, from historic traditions to contemporary innovation, through distinctive terroirs* and indigenous grape varieties from northern to southern Italy, including renowned wine regions such as Piemonte, Veneto, Tuscany and Sicily”.

The selection also highlighted indigenous single-varietal wines, while guests also had a chance to win selected Italian wines and MGM F&B dining vouchers for MGM’s award-winning restaurants.

The statement added that MGM also curated a “gastronomic showcase” featuring MGM’s One-Michelin-starred Sichuan cuisine restaurant Five Foot Road, as well as Grill 58.
