The Macao Medical Centre of Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH) announced in a statement yesterday that it will launch a bus route on Monday between the public Conde de São Januário Hospital Centre (CHCSJ) on the peninsula’s Guia Hill and Macao Union Hospital in Cotai.
According to the statement, in order to facilitate patients’ access to the two hospitals, the Health Bureau (SSM), in collaboration with Macao Union Hospital, has decided to launch a temporary shuttle bus service on May 4.
According to the statement, the service will operate from Monday to Saturday, between 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., providing a total of eight shuttle trips per day.
From 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., four shuttle buses will run from CHCSJ to the hospital in Cotai; from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., four shuttle buses will run from Macao Union Hospital to CHCSJ, the statement said.
The pick-up and drop-off points are located at the lobby of Macao Union Hospital and near the bus stop outside the CHCSJ Emergency Department Building, respectively.
