According to a statement provided by the public Macao University of Tourism (UTM) yesterday, the university plans to introduce a Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme in the 2026/2027 academic year, aiming to cultivate management talent equipped with technological innovation capabilities.
The statement said that the new programme will focus on strengthening business management skills and supporting corporate digital transformation.
It is designed to nurture future business leaders with a forward-looking vision and a sense of social responsibility, preparing them to guide organisations through changes in the global business environment, the statement noted, adding that the programme will be structured around three core modules: Transformative Leadership, Technological Innovation, and Sustainable Development.
The statement pointed out that the curriculum will integrate business theories, practical case studies and digital competencies, enabling students to develop the ability to drive organisational transformation, lead innovation and address complex business challenges.
The two-year programme will be offered in both Chinese and English, the statement said.
In addition to core subjects, students will be able to select specialised courses based on their professional interests, the statement said, adding that available specialisations include Sustainable Finance, Business Analytics, Intelligent Tourism, and Leadership and Organisational Transformation, as well as completing a project report.
