Chief Executive Sam Hou Fai visited four social service facilities in Mong Ha district yesterday, extending Chinese New Year greetings to staff and service users, according to a statement by the Macau Government Information Bureau (GCS) yesterday.
According to the statement, Sam visited a day nursery run by the Macau General Union of Neighbourhood Associations (Kai Fong), a family service centre operated by the Macau Women’s General Association (Fu Luen), a rehabilitation centre run by Caritas Macau, and a service centre for senior citizens operated by the Macau Federation of Trade Unions (Gung Luen).
The first three facilities are located in the Mong Tak social housing estate, while the other one is located in the Mong Sin social housing estate.
Sam was accompanied by Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture Wallis O Lam and officials of the Social Welfare Bureau (IAS).
