Macao Int'l Trade & Investment Fair (MIF) to mark 30th edition

The 30^th Macao International Trade & Investment Fair (MIF) is slated to take place from October 22 to 25 at Cotai Expo of The Venetian Macao, aiming to bring together participants from over 40 countries and regions to foster global cooperation and economic diversification, according to a statement from the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) yesterday.

Organised under the theme “Macao, Gateway to Global Business,” this year’s MIF continues to serve as a key platform supporting Macau’s appropriate economic diversification, the statement noted.

Since its launch in 1996, MIF has grown more than tenfold in scale and remains the city’s first UFI-accredited* professional exhibition, the statement said, adding that with Guangzhou as the partner city this time, the event will feature over 50 high-level conferences and forums, including regional cooperation sessions and internationally accredited meetings to promote trade and investment. 

According to IPIM, new highlights this year include the “Robotics Industry Pavilion” and the “Macao Big Health Brand Global Promotion Pavilion,” aligning with Macau’s “1+4” development strategy. 

The exhibition will feature five zones, showcasing technological innovation and industrial integration, the statement said, adding that over 20 new products and technologies will be unveiled, and robot ambassadors will appear in community flash roadshows

Held concurrently with the 2^nd China-Portuguese-Speaking Countries Economic and Trade Expo” (2^nd C-PLEX), Macao Franchise Expo 2025 (MFE), and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) High-Quality Talent Development Conference, the 30^th MIF aims to continue driving regional cooperation and global networking, the statement said.
