The 30th Macao International Trade & Investment Fair (30th MIF), organised by the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and set to run from October 22 to 25, under the theme “Macao, Gateway to Global Business”, at The Venetian Macao, is now accepting applications for its “Macao Local Enterprise Sales Area”.
An IPIM statement from yesterday noted that in order to boost participation by local businesses, those eligible can enjoy an 80 percent discount on the exhibition fees, reducing the cost to 2,700 patacas, with applications open until August 6 via IPIM’s online system.
According to the statement, the “Macao Local Enterprise Sales Area” will feature four main product categories: smart home devices, daily necessities, food and beverages, and creative cultural products.
Priority will be given to exhibitors with “M-Mark” certification, “Made in Macao” products, Macau agents for Portuguese-speaking countries and regions, and members of Macao Ideas or the Portuguese-speaking Countries Products Exhibition Centre.
The statement also added that each qualified business may apply for one booth at the discounted rate. As booths and spaces are limited, applications will be submitted to a lucky draw if oversubscribed. Interested enterprises are encouraged to register early by contacting mif.sme@macauexpogroup.com
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, MIF will be held at Cotai Expo alongside two other UFI-certified expos*, the “2nd China-Portuguese-Speaking Countries Economic and Trade Expo (Macao)” and “Macao Franchise Expo 2025”. By integrating innovation and global market access, the fair aims to reinforce Macau’s role as a strategic platform for international trade and investment, according to the statement.
Applications can be made by visiting the “Online Application System for Event Projects” at macaomice.ipim.gov.mo
