Two local men were arrested and admitted to selling drugs disguised as tea, but refused to say where they got the drugs from, a Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesperson said yesterday.

The two men are aged 34 and 43, both claiming to be jobless, were stopped after police got a tip-off that the duo would be at a hotel in Cotai on Wednesday, the spokesperson said.

During a search, the police found seven magu pills, three bags of Ice weighing a total 2.47 grammes on one of the men. The police took both men to the hotel room where they were staying and found 111.84 grammes of khat, 23.82 grammes of Ice (methamphetamine), 16.21 grammes of “happy powder”, 5.19 grammes of ketamine, and 10 magu pills, as well as drug taking paraphernalia.
