Chicken tikka mini burger, nachos topped with tandoori mayonnaise, vindaloo served in a naan wrap, and cocktails inspired by the Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama’s sea voyage from Portugal to India, are just some the items on the menu at Goa Nights.

Goa Nights cocktail bar and restaurant is the latest project of Shilpa Sethi and her brother Gagan Sethi from Nagpur in central India who opened Indian Spice in Nape in 2009 when they couldn’t find quality Indian food in Macau.

But Goa Nights is not simply a branch they have opened in Taipa Village. It’s a restaurant integrated with a cocktail bar that serves Indian food “tapas-style”.

Bartender and mixologist Chetan Gangan, who came second at the Bacardi Legacy 2017 and winner of the Belvedere Vodka Relearn Natural cocktail competition in 2017, poses with his cocktails inspired by Vasco da Gama’s sea voyage from Portugal to India recently during a media event.
