The police in the mainland have arrested three men for swapping banknotes of customers at a foot massage parlour for bogus ones, a Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesperson said yesterday.

The spokesperson said one of the suspects, surnamed Han, 33, ran the parlour while the second and third suspect, surnamed Xiang and Ceng, both 27, worked at the massage parlour.

According to the spokesperson, 11 people – five locals, three non-resident workers and three from Hong Kong – were found using counterfeit banknotes in Macau in March.
