A male construction worker died yesterday after being hit by an I-beam on the construction site of the new Public Prosecution Office (MP) Building in Zape, the Fire Services Bureau (CB) said yesterday.

The accident also seriously injured three other male workers, according to the bureau. All four workers, in their forties, were hit by the I-beam.

In a statement yesterday, the Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) identified the four workers as non-resident workers.
