Good Shepherd Centre Director Juliana Devoy yesterday called for “the right of every child to have a family”, urging the government to promote child adoption.

Devoy made the remarks during a press conference at the Good Shepherd Sisters’ Women Mutual Help Centre in Rua Central with the aim of raising public awareness of children’s rights.

The press conference was held on International Children’s Day.
