Ball to raise funds to revamp Good Shepherd Sisters Centre

2017-01-11 08:00     Comment:1

The France Macau Business Association (FMBA) will host its annual gala dinner on Friday, January 20, where it will sell raffle tickets to raise money for Architecture Sans Frontière – Macau (ASFM) to revamp the local Good Shepherd Sisters Centre (GSSC).

A press conference was held at MGM Macau yesterday where FMBA Chairman Rutger Verschuren announced details of the gala dinner, themed “Le Grand Bal Masqué de Versailles”, at MGM Macau, the event’s venue partner.

Verschuren said that it was a “no brainer” to support ASFM as it is a local charity organisation that aims to help disadvantaged people to enjoy a fairer and more equitable environment, apart from highlighting environmental conservation and cultural diversity and heritage. The local branch of ASF (“Architects Without Borders”) was set up in 2012 and belongs to an international network of Architecture Sans Frontières – International which was established in 1979.
