According to a recent statement by BNU, the bank’s volunteers participated in a “Play Unified Play Sports Charity Workshop”, organised by Macau Special Olympics (MSO), on May 7.

The statement underlined that to promote the integration of the disabled and deepen society’s understanding of people with intellectual disabilities, the bank’s volunteers and MSO members conducted a charity workshop that covered two topics – the creation of handmade soap and leather work.

Meanwhile, the statement pointed out that the bank donated 15,000 patacas for the MSO community outreach event series to support the services provided to people with intellectual disabilities.

The statement noted that the bank’s volunteers got an opportunity to know more about the MSO members and learn how to get along with them during the workshop. The statement added that social inclusion has been promoted by encouraging and supporting a healthy relationship through deepened communication in deserved respect and equality.

The statement underlined that the bank devotes itself to public welfare through donations and organising volunteer activities, in order to fulfil its social responsibilities. To celebrate the bank’s 120th anniversary, the bank will continue to care for and pass on positive energy to Macau’s most disadvantaged groups, the statement added.
