A photography exhibition entitled “The 9th Digital Photography Awards” hosted by the Macau Digital Photography Association is on display at Clube Militar de Macau (澳門陸軍俱樂部) until December 1. The exhibition is sponsored by the Macau Foundation (FM). The exhibition consists of winning and selected works.

According to a statement by the association, the Digital Gold Award, Digital Excellence Award and Creative Digital Photography Award went to Wu Zhendong, the Digital Silver Award went to Leung Siu Him, the Digital Bronze Award went to Sou Su Fu, and the Lei Loi Tak Memorial Trophy went to Leung Siu Him.

The statement underlines that the winning works represent different artistic elements. For instance, Wu’s Digital Gold Award entitled “Human and Nature” combines the elements of portrait, plants and animals, while his Digital Excellence Award entitled “In a dream” shows an “unrealistic” and dreamy black-and-white scenery.

According to the statement, the jury comprised Lok Hei, Leong Chan Kong, Tang Sio Fong, Au Thien Yn, and Yuen Vai Man.

The club’s basement gallery is located at 975 Avenida da Praia Grande and opens daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

As part of the government’s COVID-19 prevention measures, visitors need to wear a facemask, have their temperature checked and present a digital health code when entering the gallery.
