Air Macau offers free cancellations/ rescheduling for passengers flying to/from mainland

Air Macau said in a statement yesterday that passengers who are not able to board their flights due to the new 48-hour Nucleic Acid Test (NAT) validity restriction, can cancel or reschedule their tickets for free.

According to the statement, passengers are allowed to change their tickets to flights to the same destination anytime in 2021. The statement noted that due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Nanjing and Chengdu, for Nanjing tickets that were booked before Wednesday (July 28) and or the stated departing date is between July 20 and August 31, and Chengdu tickets for flights departing between July 28 and August 4, can have their tickets changed or cancelled before their original departure date.

In another statement, Air Macau announced that all flights from Macau to Chengdu, flight number NX9190, between July 30 and August 12 are cancelled. The statement also noted that flights from Chengdu to Macau with the flight number NX9189 between July 30 and August 12 and flights with the flight number NX197 between July 30 and August 1 are all cancelled.

The statement reminded passengers that those whose flights have been cancelled can visit Air Macau’s website or mini programme on WeChat and will have priority when rescheduling.
