The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement yesterday that it will launch a three-day summer stamp collection activity in the Macao Cultural Centre (CCM) Plaza and Anim’Arte NAM VAN, encouraging families to participate in cultural activities and enter a lucky draw for prizes including round-trip air tickets, electronic consumption vouchers and limited-edition merchandise.
The “MICAF, MICAF, Where Are You?” stamp collection activity will run from tomorrow through Sunday, alongside the “MICAF Fun Day” Arts Carnival and the “Art Everywhere – Cultural Vibes at the Weekend” event, the statement said.
MICAF stands for “Macao International Children’s Arts Festival”.
Stamp collection points are located at the information counter in CCM Plaza and the “10 minutes of Reading” activity area at Anim’Arte NAM VAN, the statement said, adding that participants can take photos with MICAF decorations at the venues, check in and upload the photos to social media to receive a stamp on their collection cards. Those who collect two stamps from different venues can enter the lucky draw, the statement said, noting that the draw will be held at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday during the “MICAF Fun Day” Arts Carnival.
According to the statement, prizes include round-trip tickets sponsored by Air Macau, electronic consumption vouchers sponsored by Bank of China (BOC), limited-edition skateboards sponsored by Fanta, and “Wandering in a Parallel World” plush toys co-presented by MGM and the bureau.
The list of winners will be announced on the “IC Art” Facebook page, the statement underlined.
Registration for selected activities for “MICAF Fun Day” Arts Carnival, including “Backstage Adventures”, “Water Party”, “Water Fun Park”, “Foam Party” and “Kid’s Reading Fun Share”, opened at 3:00 p.m. yesterday on the MICAF website (https://www.icm.gov.mo/micaf), the statement said, adding that limited on-site registration will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Meanwhile, “Art Everywhere – Cultural Vibes at the Weekend” at Anim’Arte NAM VAN will also run tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday evenings, featuring cultural performances and cultural and creative product stalls.
