An exhibition featuring over 6,000 hand-crafted items will be showcased at the Macao Science Centre (MSC) from next Friday through Sunday.
Held by the Correctional Services Bureau (DSC) from September 4-6 at the centre’s Convention Hall, the exhibition is titled “Inmates and Juvenile Delinquents’ Handicraft Exhibition”, with organisers noting in a recent statement that there will be a variety of works to be showcased. These also contain “stories of renewal and rebirth”, the statement said.
Aside from the exhibition, the statement said that booth games by the bureau, co-organisers and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) will also be set up in the Heart-shaped Tree Square, where Shiny, the bureau’s “care buddy” will also be present, altogether encouraging community support and participation.
The free-admission exhibition will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 6 p.m. on September 4, and from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on September 5 and 6.
